Westchester Deputy County Executive Ken Jenkins, State Senator Nathalia Fernandez, and New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson have endorsed Councilmember Yadira Ramos-Herbert for New Rochelle Mayor in a joint announcement.
This coalition of elected leaders have endorsed the campaign just days after the New Rochelle Democratic Committee unanimously endorsed Ramos-Herbert’s bid for mayor.

“I’ve gotten to know Yadira Ramos-Herbert well over her time on the New Rochelle Council. She is the experienced, principled leader New Rochelle deserves as it moves into the future,” said Deputy County Exec. Ken Jenkins
“Yadira is a vibrant leader who has spent years as a fighter for her district,” added Senator Fernandez. “I am proud to support her for Mayor, where she will bring that same passion and energy on behalf of the whole city.”
“Yadira has exactly the right perspective for this moment in New Rochelle’s history,” said Mayor Bramson. “She offers a thoughtful balance of continuity and change. In a city that strives to break barriers, role models matter, and Yadira is uniquely able not only to lead with skill and determination but also to inspire.”
“I am humbled and grateful to have gained the endorsements of these accomplished leaders. Our campaign has always been about community, and I will continue to work to earn the support of every resident in our city. I am proud to call New Rochelle my home. I couldn’t imagine raising my family anywhere else. As Mayor, I will work to protect our community, have an open-door approach to governing and dedicate myself to ensuring that everyone’s voice is heard in City Hall,” said Yadira Ramos-Herbert.
