On Tuesday, the City Council will vote on the 2026 budget. Your city council has spent hours reviewing the proposed budget and participated in over 10 hours of public meetings. In case you missed these meetings 😉 and haven't had a chance to review the 449-page document, I prepared a short reel (under 2 minutes) featuring some highlights. Take a look!

In short, while staying within the property tax cap and for the first time in a decade not relying on the City’s savings account to present a balanced budget, the proposed 2026 budget provides enhanced services, invests in our people, our safety, our parks, our roads, our history and our City.
